《英语选修8》
一、模块内容
(一)模块简介
英语·选修模块8必须在修完选修7的基础上开设,建议用36个课时完成。
l 本模块将围绕美国多元文化、克隆、科学发明、戏剧、考古等话题进行听、说、读、写、译等技能训练。
l 掌握本模块中出现的约200个单词和近40条固定搭配和习惯用语的语义和用法。复习本模块中出现的语法现象,如名词性从句作主语、宾语和同位语的用法、单词、词组和从句同位语的用法,由过去分词作定语、表语、宾语补足语和状语的用法,复习动词时态(含学习现在完成进行时)。
l 围绕本模块相关功能及话题开展的学习活动,如“鼓励别人”、“指路”、“接受与拒绝”、“打电话”、“做判断”等。
l 形成适合自己学习需要的认知、调控、交际、资源等英语学习策略,并能不断地调整。
l 逐步扩展文化知识的内容和范围,提高对中外文化异同的敏感性和鉴别能力,为发展跨文化交际能力打下良好的基础。

新学约250个单词与习语,能就美国多元文化、克隆、科学发明、戏剧(皮格马利翁)、考古等话题与别人交流。复习“鼓励别人”、“指路”、“接受与拒绝”、“打电话”、“做判断”等功能的表达方法与应用语境。整理关于句子成份和动词时态的相关语法知识,提高写作语言水平和语言运用能力,提升语言学习策略水平。运用略读、扫读等各种阅读技巧阅读教材相关文本,并能就这些话题口、笔头发表自己的观点。

l 本模块将围绕吉尼斯记录、航海、澳洲介绍、植物研究、广告等话题进行听、说、读、写、译等技能训练。
l 掌握本模块中出现的约290个单词和约15条固定搭配和习惯用语的语义和用法。整理有关句子成份的知识:主语、谓语、表语、直接宾语和间接宾语、宾语补足语。
l 围绕本模块的相关功能及话题开展的教学活动,如“表情”、“因果关系”、“禁止与警告”、“争议”等。
l 形成合适的认知、调控、交际、资源等英语学习策略,并能不断地调整。
l 逐步扩展文化知识的内容和范围,提高对中外文化异同的敏感性和鉴别能力,为发展跨文化交际能力打下良好的基础。
